The dress in the picture is indeed an Irish dress - of the 15th century! Irinsh DANCE dresses look nothing like that.

Don't forget Celtic Dragon Dress Designs! They are a new company who is trying to merge old fashioned Celtic Knotwork with the new styles of dress. They are great to work with and their dresses are beautiful! I heard they do school dresses too.
